These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Domain Scout websites at scout.caprolok.com and app.scout.caprolok.com, and any related tools, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
This document is provided for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Please consult with a qualified lawyer to confirm that these Terms meet your specific legal requirements.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you (a) are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with us. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Account Registration and Security
To access certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify us if you suspect any unauthorised access or use of your account.
3. Subscriptions, Plans, and Payments
Some features of the Service may be offered on a paid subscription basis (“Subscription”). Details about available plans, pricing, and limits (for example, the number of searches or credits) are described in the Service or on our pricing page.
- Billing: By purchasing a Subscription, you authorise us and our payment processors to charge you the applicable fees, taxes, and any other charges associated with your chosen plan.
- Renewals: Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date, following the instructions in your account or as stated in the Service.
- Changes: We may update our pricing, plans, and limits from time to time. Any changes will apply to new Subscriptions or renewals and, where required by law, we will provide advance notice.
- Refunds: Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, all fees are non-refundable.
4. Use of the Service
Domain Scout helps you discover domains and view available contact information associated with those domains. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business or professional purposes.
You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including anti-spam, privacy, and data protection laws.
- Use any automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Service, except as explicitly allowed by us in writing.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Service, except where permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or networks.
- Resell, lease, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties without our prior written consent.
5. Contact Data and Your Compliance Responsibilities
The Service may display contact details (such as email addresses or phone numbers) that we locate from available sources. We do not verify the accuracy of this information and we do not guarantee that it may be used for any specific purpose.
You are solely responsible for how you use any contact information obtained through the Service. This includes:
- Ensuring your outreach complies with applicable laws (for example, anti-spam legislation, privacy and marketing rules, and professional conduct rules in your jurisdiction).
- Respecting opt-out requests and individuals’ rights where required by law.
- Using the information in a lawful, fair, and non-abusive manner.
6. Intellectual Property
We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, features, designs, text, graphics, logos, and other content (“Domain Scout Content”). Except as expressly stated in these Terms, no rights or licences are granted to you under any intellectual property rights owned or controlled by us or our licensors.
You may provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service (“Feedback”). By submitting Feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable licence to use, copy, modify, and incorporate the Feedback into our products and services without any obligation to you.
7. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or any part of it, at any time if we believe that:
- You have violated these Terms or any applicable law.
- Your use of the Service may create risk or possible legal exposure for us or other users.
- We decide to discontinue the Service (in which case we will provide advance notice where reasonably possible).
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you wish to cancel a Subscription, you must follow the instructions provided in your account or on the Service. Except where required by law, cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.
9. Disclaimers
The Service and all Domain Scout Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any results, domains, or contact information obtained through the Service will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will Domain Scout, Caprolok, its affiliates, directors, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

11. Indemnification

- Your use of the Service;
- Your violation of these Terms; or
- Your violation of any rights of another person or entity, including any third-party privacy or intellectual property rights.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [your city / region] to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law provides you with a different right.

13. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner in the Service or an email notification).
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms become effective signifies that you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. You may not assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
